ASX-listed telecommunications service provider Vonex has selected Channel UC's Ribbon Connect as its Microsoft Teams calling solution.
Sydney-based Channel UC, which has distributed Ribbon Connect since since December 2022, said Vonex chose the solution to offer Microsoft Teams Direct Routing to its growing customer base.
“Channel UC is very excited about this partnership announcement with Vonex. Vonex have been a prominent challenger brand for many years and Channel UC is the perfect partner to enable their business to scale effectively and quickly within the Microsoft Teams Calling market," Channel UC's managing director Brad Milne said.
"I’m exceptionally proud of both teams for the effort that went in to getting this partnership finalised. Moreover, it is with great honour that we have awarded Vonex Channel UC’s ‘New Channel Partner of the Year’.”
The partnership has seen Vonex and Channel UC secure a major national customer with hundreds of Teams Calling users and a sizable nationally distributed contact center solution.
“No other competitor of Channel UC’s that we assessed had the ability to deliver not only the Teams calling solution from Ribbon, but all the other services that are so crucial to the integration and success of Microsoft Teams," Vonex's CEO Ian Porter said.
"Their professional services skills and value add wrap around services offer us a unique value proposition fundamental to the success of our business in this space."
"They are in a unique position to help us transition a large portion of our customer base to Microsoft Teams Calling and we are exceptionally excited about the growth opportunity that lies ahead for Vonex.”
