VExpress has been selected as a distributor for UK-headquartered communications vendor StarLeaf.
StarLeaf's solutions include enterprise messaging, video calling and meeting solutions. VExpress partners will also have access to StarLeaf's OpenCloud platform, which allows customers to directly communicate with other users using any video equipment, such as from the likes of Alcatel-Lucent, Avaya, Cisco, Lifesize and Polycom.
VExpress said its partners would have access to the complete StarLeaf portfolio of meeting room, desktop and mobile solutions, as well as a range of native Skype for Business meeting room systems.
“With StarLeaf we are in a great position to offer our partners all they need to meet today’s business communication needs," said VExpress general manager David McEwen.
"The StarLeaf portfolio allows partners to address the enterprise and businesses of all sizes, that are looking for Skype for Business meeting room solutions, need help migrating current systems to the cloud, or that simply want a new video meeting solution that is easy to use, easy to manage and affordable."
Resellers will also have access to the recently launched StarLeaf instant messaging app. StarLeaf country managing Tim Fulton said: “As a strategic distribution partner, VExpress is ideally placed to help us extend our reach, meet the market demand for collaboration solutions and support customers with their need to increase productivity and lower costs.”
Last month, VExpress spun out its Telstra distribution business to form a new company called Exltech that specialises in cloud, mobility, NBN and voice products from Telstra. The dedicated telecommunications distributor also partners with Alcatel-Lucent, Avaya, Sennheiser, MessageMe, Northbridge Secure Systems and AudioCodes.
