Digital infrastructure provider Vertiv has appointed Cynthia Lush as associate channel director for Australia and New Zealand to strengthen its strategic alliances across the region.

Lush, who has been in the role since July last year, is an industry veteran who brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in technology sales and channel development, having held senior roles at IBM and Exclusive Networks.

She replaced Vai Le, who left Vertiv in February last year, to join Emersion Systems.

"We are thrilled to welcome Cynthia to the Vertiv family," LuLu Shiraz, senior director of sales for Vertiv in ANZ, said.

"Her deep understanding of the technology ecosystem, combined with her strategic vision and proven leadership in channel development, will play a crucial role in supporting our partners and driving growth in the market," Shiraz added.

In her new role, Lush will work closely with Vertiv's IT distributors including Orion Energy and Multimedia Technology in Australia, and Ingram Micro and Dove in New Zealand.

"I am excited to join Vertiv in this critical time where we are seeing the continuous growth of AI and edge across key industries in the region," Lush said.

"With our strong network of regional partners coupled with our end-to-end solutions for IT applications, Vertiv is well-positioned to support our customers and elevate their critical digital infrastructure to a whole new level," Lush added.

Listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), Vertiv provides power protection, cooling, and IT management solutions to data centres and commercial facilities across more than 130 countries.
