Technology services firm UST has formed a strategic alliance with Anthropic to embed Claude across its industry platforms, internal operations and engineering environments, and plans to certify 20,000 of its associates on the AI model globally.

Under the alliance, UST will integrate Claude into the platforms it designs, builds and operates for clients in banking, healthcare, telecom, semiconductor, automotive, manufacturing and other sectors - with the stated goal of helping Global 1000 enterprises move from isolated AI pilots to production-scale deployment.

Three industry platforms are being prioritised.

UST CarePath, its healthcare payer platform, will use Claude to streamline member services, care management and claims workflows, with an agentic layer that routes recommended actions for human approval before reaching a member.

UST IntelliOps, its telecom network operations platform, will use Claude's reasoning capabilities to identify service issues, predict radio access network failures and shorten outage response times.

UST FinX, a banking modernisation platform aimed at mid-tier banks running legacy batch-processing core systems, will use Claude to accelerate onboarding, automate document processing and improve staff access to account and compliance data.

On the engineering side, UST is integrating Claude into UST-iDEC, its hardware and silicon validation platform.

The company said iDEC already cuts validation cycle times by 50–70% and compresses standard four-day turnarounds to 48 hours.

Claude will act as the reasoning layer in the platform's agentic validation pipeline, reading chip pinouts and hardware schematics, writing regression test scripts and comparing live edge data against digital twins to flag firmware regressions and signal-integrity faults.

UST said it is also deploying Claude across its own internal operations - including contracts, legal, talent, marketing, infrastructure and finance - as a way of building a tested playbook of AI workflows and governance models it can then bring to clients.

The training commitment covers 20,000 UST associates worldwide, spanning architects, engineers, consultants and industry specialists, with certification supported by Anthropic's enablement and technical guidance programmes.

"By combining the capabilities of Claude with UST's engineering, industry knowledge, and delivery expertise, we are bringing to market industry-specific platforms and digital and engineering solutions that improve productivity, accelerate business outcomes, and help clients operationalise AI-led decisions in a safe and secure environment," said Krishna Sudheendra, CEO of UST

"UST helps the world's banks, telecoms, and manufacturers put new technology to work. They're proving Claude inside their own engineering first, training 20,000 of their own people on it, before bringing it into the systems they build and run for clients," said Paul Smith, CCO of Anthropic.
