Thoughtworks will make its AI offerings available in the AWS Marketplace, under a new strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help APAC enterprises with GenAI.
The agreement will also provide access to AI experts, with Thoughtworks planning to train at least 200 more people in the coming year to further support customer adoption of GenAI. It has trained more than 70 employees on the latest AWS GenAI services, including Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Q.
Thoughtworks also intends to deepen its footprint into countries in Asia Pacific, including Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
An announcement about the agreement touted Thoughtworks’ work helping PEXA Group create its GenAI Assistant on Amazon Bedrock. The assistant accesses “internal knowledge sources like training manuals and standard operating procedures” to “synthesise, personalise and contextualise information, to reduce response times on property information queries”.
AWS was “thrilled to be deepening our collaboration with Thoughtworks”, stated the head of emerging technologies for Thoughtworks in Asia Pacific, Andy Nolan.
”This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our journey to help clients unlock the full potential of AI and shape the future of their industries.”
