Microsoft's vote for platform partner of the year was KAZ Technology Solutions. Small business winner was Axxis Technologies.
ISV partner for 2004 was Volante Group. In the small business category, Vertikls took the prize.
The software vendor gave Scalable Data Systems an award for being Microsoft's ERP partner of 2004.
CRM partner of the year was Data#3. The company, along with New Zealand-based Axon Computer Systems, also scored a large account reseller award for excellence in sales.
Microsoft singled out HPN Solutions as retail management system partner of the year.
Excom Education came top in the learning solutions partner of the year category.
Microsoft's best large account resellers operationally were declared to be Software Spectrum and Computerland New Zealand.
The prizes for the best Microsoft partner solution of the year went to Volante. In the small business category, the winner was HPN Solutions.
A special Partner Choice award for distributor of the year was shared jointly by Express Data and Tech Pacific.
More than 65 entries were submitted by partners across 10 categories.
The awards recognised Microsoft Certified and Microsoft Gold Certified Partners that had delivered an exemplary Microsoft-based business offering between 1 July 2003 and 30 June 2004, the software vendor said in a statement.
