Telstra deals with Harris Technology
The Coles owned business has now been appointed as a Telstra dealer and to coincide with the announcement it has launched the Next G service through its ‘Business Centres’.

The deal will allow Harris to support the increased mobility needs of small and medium business customers, said Brod Ivory, business manager merchandising and supply chain at Harris Technology.

“Harris Technology responds to these needs by offering ‘the works’ including notebooks, PDAs, mobile printers, portable payment devices and software applications – all joined together by Telstra’s new Next G network” he said.

The deal will also allow Telstra Dealer in partnership with ICT Distribution, Telstra’s dealer of non-traditional IT products.

“Entering the telecommunications arena, in conjunction with ICT distribution and Telstra, customers no longer need to purchase their communication products from multiple resellers,” said Brod.

Harris Technology will be a one-stop shop for the ultimate mobile office with a large range of PDAs and smart phones available outright or powered by the Next G network, he said.

According to Brod, the offer also includes Turbo Cards or Turbo USB Modem for notebooks, which enables businesses and consumers to be on Telstra’s mobile broadband network.
