Microsoft's NZ MD Vanessa Sorenson departs

She first joined in October 2017 as enterprise director for NZ, taking over the leadership of Microsoft in the country in April 2020, as well as leading the GPS ANZ partner team from 2022.

Google Cloud appoints Gretta Svendsen as ANZ head of partnerships and alliances

She was most recently EGM of corporate at SAP, having also previously served as regional VP of sales at Salesforce, head of small medium and corporate scale for ANZ at Microsoft and global director of partnerships and product at Xero.

Anita Sheridan-Roddick becomes CRO of Baidam

She joined the company in July of last year as national sales director.

Tech Data's Daniel Djundjek joins Chillisoft

Taking over as business manager for cyber security solutions in Australia.

Lenovo Appoints Sumir Bhatia as chief commercial officer for Asia Pacific

He will lead the newly created commercial organisation in Asia Pacific, bringing together enterprise sales, solution sales, channel, and alliances teams.

Based in Singapore, he will continue reporting to Amar Babu, president of Asia Pacific.

Bhatia previously led the company's Infrastructure Solutions Group business for the past decade.

The appointment follows the announcement of the planned retirement of Ivan Cheung, Vice President and General Manager of Lenovo’s PCs & Smart Devices (PCSD) and Chief Operating Officer in Asia Pacific, in June 2026. Benjamin Yeh succeeded Cheung as Vice President and General Manager of PCSD for Lenovo‘s Asia Pacific region in March 2026.

Akamai adds Fiona Zhang and Sean Li
 
Based in Hong Kong, Fiona Zhang joins as regional VP of channel sales and programs for Asia Pacific and Japan, 
 
She joined Akamai in 2019 and most recently headed channel strategy and operations in Greater China, driving partner-led growth across delivery, security, and compute solutions.

Also based in Hong Kong, Sean Li as joins as SVP of regional sales and MD for Asia Pacific and Japan. He succeeds Parimal Pandya, who now leads global sales strategy for the company’s rapidly growing cloud business.

Li brings more than a decade of leadership at Akamai, most recently serving as VP and MD for Greater China, where he helped grow the business into one of Akamai’s largest markets outside the United States.
