Tech Data, a TD SYNNEX company, has signed a distribution agreement with Keyfactor to bring the company's technologies to partners and customers across Australia and New Zealand.

Keyfactor delivers automated public key infrastructure (PKI) and certificate management services that aim to reduce the risk of outages and breaches, while enabling organisations to scale digital trust.

Tech Data will leverage its Tech Centre of Excellence (Tech COE), solutions aggregation capabilities and go-to-market capabilities to simplify the adoption of Keyfactor solutions.

By integrating Keyfactor into its broader cybersecurity portfolio, Tech Data intends to enable partners to build out end-to-end security stacks that combine identity-first security with complementary technologies from other vendors.

"Digital identities are the foundation of trust in today’s connected economy, yet managing them has become increasingly complex for enterprises," said Robbie Upcroft, country GM at Tech Data ANZ.

"Our partnership with Keyfactor equips our partners with advanced certificate lifecycle automation and key management capabilities, delivered in a way that is easy to consume. This is a strategic addition to our security portfolio that not only addresses a critical market challenge but also creates growth opportunities for our channel ecosystem.”

“As enterprises across ANZ accelerate digital transformation, the ability to manage and secure digital trust at scale has become mission-critical," said Louise McEvoy, SVP of global channel sales at Keyfactor.

"Partnering with Tech Data extends our reach and positions Keyfactor within the broader technology stacks that customers rely on. This strategic collaboration enables ANZ organizations to navigate the increasingly complex security landscape, enhance digital trust across their ecosystems, and proactively prepare for emerging challenges such as post-quantum cryptography, shortened certificate lifecycles, and the growing adoption of agentic AI.”
