Tech Data today launched its StreamOne cloud marketplace in Australia, allowing partners to access Microsoft Office 365 and Azure services along with management and billing capabilities.
According to a company statement, StreamOne is a provisioning, billing and end-user lifecycle management digital platform that enables partners to scale, launch and manage a broad range of cloud services, including SaaS, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
The platform is based on intellectual property from Tech Data's global parent – a US$35 billion technology distributor that is one of the world's biggest – an is integrated into Tech Data’s StreamOne Enterprise Solutions, which was previously known as the Avnet Cloud Toolset.
Partners will be able to manage the entire end-user lifecycle for consumption- and subscription-based cloud services within the platform, while also leveraging tools and resources that enable them to learn about, invest in and manage cloud services.
The platform aims to give partners options to deliver more offerings such as assessment, migration, security and monitoring for hassle-free cloud transitions for customers.
“We are thrilled to now offer the StreamOne cloud marketplace to our partners and vendors locally,” Tech Data ANZ country general manager Wendy O’Keeffe said.
“Right now partners can use the platform to access Microsoft Office 365 and Azure services along with simple management and billing capabilities. In the coming months, we’ll be bringing on additional leading and niche cloud solutions from our world-class vendors.”
Tech Data Australia also launched a new partner program for ANZ partners, which it said is designed to build or grow their cloud offering.
The new partner program encompasses public cloud via StreamOne and Tech Data’s billing platform; private and public managed cloud services; value-added solutions; and managed service provider license fulfillment.
“By joining our cloud partner program, partners gain access to benefits like support, tools, training and rewards – all designed to take their cloud business into the stratosphere,” O’Keefe said.
Tech Data said that program members would gain access to the following benefits to support their business while minimising the risks and financial implications associated with cloud adoption:
- Access to all major cloud platforms on one platform;
- Business, technical and operational support;
- Access to Tech Data’s 24/7 solutions support team based in Sydney;
- Training, workshops, tools and learning resources;
- Increasing rewards as partners progress through each program tier: Stratus, Atlus and Cirrus.
