Synnex has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with consumer electronics provider Senzu in Australia.
Senzu products include LED and LCD televisions, Blu-ray and DVD players, PVR and digital set top boxes, Hi-Fi audio products and accessories.
Senzu products are manufactured by a consortium of factories in Japan, Korea, Taiwan and China which Synnex also has a partnership with.
Kee Ong, CEO at Synnex said, Senzu provides a "value alternative to the premium" brands. "We expect [it] to be popular with our retail customers," he said.
The deal extends Synnex's audio visual portfolio after signing TiVO last year.
Meanwhile, to grow Senzu in Australia, Senzu has appointed an Australian sales manager, Ziad Yaacoub, who will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities.
Yaacoub was previously the regional sales manager for Soniq and now is based in Synnex's Sydney offices.
Senzu is currently available from several retailers including Clive Peeters, Retail Adventures and Retravision Western.
Yaacoub said additional retail partnerships will be announced shortly.
