Synnex Australia has formed a distribution agreement with US-based automation provider Rewst, enabling it to offer Rewst's automation platform to managed service providers (MSPs) in Australia and New Zealand.
The partnership includes an integration between Rewst's robotic process automation (RPA) tool and Synnex's application programming interface (API) to automate tasks such as licence procurement and reconciliation.
MSPs can now access Rewst's platform through Synnex.
"Automating these processes will enable our MSP partners to save significant time, allowing them to focus on high-value activities and drive substantial business growth," said Kuo Yoong, head of cloud at Synnex.
“Rewst’s vendor-agnostic approach to RPA allows MSPs to automate processes across their entire technology stack, including integrations with our complementary vendors like Acronis, Halo PSA, Microsoft, and Google Workspace, supporting best-of-breed environments and unlocking even more value from these tools."
Synnex said the Rewst Automation Platform has over fifty integrations with MSP tools, including Acronis, Datto, Duo, Google Workspace, HaloPSA, ITGlue, Kaseya, Microsoft and OpenAI.
It also enables custom integrations with any service that exposes an API, which Synnex said allows MSPs to automate processes using pre-built automations or by designing their own custom workflows and forms.
"We’re seeing strong interest in, and demand for automation solutions from MSPs in Australia and New Zealand," said Charlie Tomeo, CRO at Rewst.
“Our platform supports over 900 MSPs globally in automating repetitive processes, leading to significant time savings and cost reductions. Last month alone, our platform facilitated over 90 million workflows, contributing to self-reported time savings that surpassed 386,000 hours."
“Our partnership with Synnex will extend these benefits and advantages to a rapidly expanding market. The synergy between Synnex’s vendor portfolio and Rewst’s integration capabilities present a compelling opportunity for MSPs to realise significant business value through automation.”
