Five Australian partners have been honoured at cybersecurity vendor Rapid7's global 2024 Partner of the Year Awards.
The annual awards recognise partners that "maximise the relationship to jointly provide significant customer impacts," Rapid7 said.
Twenty-two partners across three global regions were recognised, of which five were located in Australia and New Zealand.
Sydney-based computer consultant The Missing Link took home the Partner of the Year Award for Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ).
The company's CISO Aaron Bailey said the award "underscores our commitment to providing innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients.'
"This recognition motivates us to continue pushing the boundaries of cybersecurity excellence and reinforces our position as a trusted partner in safeguarding businesses against emerging threats" he said.
Meanwhile, Canberra-based cybersecurity specialists DGplex was named Cloud Security Partner of the Year for the second year in a row.
The firm's MD, founder and CEO Jordan Delgrande said the recognition was "a testament to our commitment to safeguarding the digital realm with finesse and innovation."
"We're thrilled to be recognised for our dedication to cloud security – after all, keeping customers’ data safe is serious business, but that doesn't mean we can't have a little fun along the way!"
Elsewhere, the Detection & Response Partner of the Year award was handed to Telstra, while Orro was honoured as the Vulnerability Management Partner of the Year.
In addition, Melbourne headquartered managed security services provider Cythera, which was named Rapid7 APAC Partner of the Year in 2023, nabbed the MSSP Partner of the Year Award.
“With cyber threats multiplying and evolving every day, Rapid7 partnerships are critical in helping organisations reduce risk and stay ahead of attackers,” said Anita Moorhouse, director of APJ channel sales at Rapid7.
“Partnerships extend our reach, ensuring that more organisations are digitally secure and able to take command of their attack surface by anticipating, pinpointing, and acting on any threat that comes their way."
"We are pleased to recognise our partners’ valuable contributions in ANZ, the greater APJ region and around the world.”
