Sydney-based managed service provider OutcomeX has been retained by TAFE New South Wales, for cybersecurity and a storage-as-a-service contracts.

The first contract is for a Cisco security solutions enterprise licening agreement, spanning three years from 2024.

It is valued at $6.21 million, and it is a renewal contract for Outcomex.

TAFE said it uses Cisco for a range of security purposes, with specialised tools for both learner and corporate data.

OutcomeX also picked up another contract renewal with TAFE, for NetApp storage-as-a-service (STaaS), valued at just under $6.9 million including GST.

TAFE NSW also tendered for a contract to refresh its wired and wireless infrastructure, which it renewed with Telstra.

That contract is valued at just over $9.3 million including GST and covers telephony, mobile service, internet and data, TAFE NSW said.

Outcomex was honoured in the 2023 IoT Impact Awards, for its work on the pick-up and drop off TransportDeck solution for NSW.
