The Australian Red Cross has chosen Stellar, a business process outsourcing provider, to implement an automated data capture technology solution to support their invoice processing requirements.
Stellar's solution includes the latest version of Ascent Capture, which delivers document and data capture capabilities. Ascent Capture enables Barcode recognition, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for machine print, Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) for handwriting and Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) for check marks.
Geoff Charters, chief executive officer of Stellar Business Process Solutions said this new agreement marks the beginning of another successful long-term relationship for Stellar, and adds to the portfolio of technology and outsourcing solutions we have delivered.
“Many clients have found that they can reduce the cost to process documents by up to 60 percent or more through the implementation of our product,” he said.
By offering a unique transactional pricing approach for both their in-house technology implementations and their fully outsourced shared services solutions, Stellar eliminates the need for companies to make large upfront capital investments, he said.
