Software testing leader Revolution IT follows the money to Canberra

A Hewlett Packard, SAP and Oracle partner has expanded its Canberra operations as it chases more federal government work.

Revolution IT has opened a new Canberra office near Parliament House to support continued growth in providing testing services and solutions to the government sector.

The multi-state company, which featured in the 2009 and 2010 CRN Fast50, will staff the office with a combination of existing employees and new hires.

Roland Perpic, who is sales manager of the Sydney office, will move to Canberra to lead sales activities for the region. His success in growing the Revolution IT’s Sydney operations was a key reason the company decided to expand in Canberra.

Revolution IT also has offices in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Singapore. Its partners include CA Technologies, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, IBM, Neotys, Oracle, SAP, Smartbear, and Tricentis.

“It’s exciting to see increased demand for our services within the government sector as it undertakes significant digital IT transformation programs to create efficiencies, deliver cost savings and improve services to its customers,” said Revolution IT chief executive Jamie Duffield.

“Software and application testing is critical to achieving a successful project, and we are delighted to be the trusted partner for many government departments in Canberra and across Australia.”
