Global indepent software maintenance vendor Origina has announced two new appointments to boost its growth across the Asia-Pacific region, the company said.

Jay Tuckey has been appointed Head of Partnerships and Alliances for the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region, bringing extensive experience from his previous role as APAC sales director at HCL.

Tuckey has also worked with IBM and managed IBM's channel ecosystem during his time at Ingram Micro.

His primary goal will be to expand Origina's partner network, working closely with resellers, referral partners, and expert software vendors.

With his deep knowledge of both vendors and channel partners, Tuckey will support Origina's growth strategy, particularly in delivering cost-effective software maintenance services across the APJ region.

“Jay brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective, having worked closely with both vendors and channel partners,” said Origina chief executive and founder Tomás O’Leary.

“His passion for helping customers extend the life of their software investments while balancing cost pressures makes him a perfect fit to lead our partnership initiatives in APJ," O'Leary added.

In addition to Tuckey’s appointment, Corinne Campbell will move to focus exclusively on driving Origina’s partnership with SoftwareOne ANZ.

Campbell has over 30 years of experience in the technology market, and has been instrumental in establishing Origina’s presence in Australia.

Her role will involve close collaboration with SoftwareOne’s sales team, providing her expertise to deliver Origina’s independent software maintenance services to SoftwareOne’s clients.

These appointments reflect Origina’s commitment to expanding its footprint across the Asia-Pacific region, supporting its mission to provide high-quality, cost-effective software maintenance for IBM, HCL, and VMware customers.
