LogicaCMG will build, test and integrate the Agresso Business World ERP platform, to enable the Skilled Group to streamline and automate its billing and payroll processes to deliver an enhanced service to its clients and employees.
In addition, Skilled Group’s management will benefit from gaining more detailed client, employee and financial reports on a daily basis as well as the confidence that future strategic initiatives can be quickly and cost-effectively implemented.
Trevor Punchard, Skilled Group’s chief information officer said the organisation was in an expansion phase and had acquired seven companies in the past eight months.
“We required a solution that would deliver a world class back office system and create consistency across our Business Units while supporting our ambitious growth plans,” he said.
“LogicaCMG and Agresso Business World were selected by us after a comprehensive assessment of best of breed and integrated solutions which included the major global ERP vendors.”
Agresso’s ERP platform was most suited to the people and growth orientated focus of its business and it was impressed with the flexibility of the solution to manage, pay and bill out our people and the way this can be applied in our continuing changing business environment, Punchard added.
