Peter Alexander has taken over as the CTO for public sector in Australia for ServiceNow.
He joins after over three decades working in the Australian Public Service, including over five years at the DTA, where he held such roles as acting CEO, deputy CEO and the Australian Government's Chief Digital Officer.
His most recent role was as CTO for Defence Australia.
Alexander said in a post on LinkedIn that his new role will see him working closely with public sector organisations and ServiceNow teams to deliver better outcomes, improve efficiency, and create real value for money.
"Whether it’s ERP, service delivery, customer experience, policy development, or corporate functions, there’s so much potential to make a difference together," he said.
"I’ve been fortunate to have a rich and rewarding career so far, surrounded by talented people and memorable experiences. I’m stepping into this role excited to learn, contribute, and grow, while carrying forward the values and lessons that have shaped my journey. Everything I’ve experienced of ServiceNow tells me it’s a place where I can thrive."
