Servian crosses the ditch by acquiring Kiwi MSP enterpriseIT

Data and analytics consultancy Servian has officially landed in New Zealand by acquiring Kiwi MSP enterpriseIT.

Headquartered in Auckland, enterpriseIT provides managed IT services, particularly to airlines and government customers. Its specialties include cloud technology, data and AI.

Servian will retain enterpriseIT’s 70-strong managed services and 40 consultants.

enterpriseIT CEO Stuart Speers will also join Servian as national managing partner in New Zealand, with continued responsibility for leading operations across the ditch as well as identifying more suitable acquisition targets.

“Our teams are still proudly specialist, but we now have a broader offering,” said Speers. “We’ve been approached several times over the years by both local and multinational organisations, but it never felt quite right.

“This time, the timing and alignment couldn’t have been better, especially since we were already looking at possible acquisition strategies.”

The acquisition brings Servian’s headcount to approximately 530, with more expected to join as the consultancy business grows. Last month, Servian acquired automation and DevOps specialist Vibrato, adding another 50 staff to the books.

“With enterpriseIT’s significant managed services capabilities, this deal helps our clients go deeper with our services,” said Servian CEO Tony Nicol. “And that’s complemented by Servian’s core consultancy offering. We have extensive experience in providing strategic advice to businesses.”

“It’s an expertise that’s easily exportable to the New Zealand market.”

Servian also revealed it has ambitions to expand into the UK with a new satellite office before the end of the year, along with an office somewhere in Asia.
