Security ISV ArchTIS scores contract extension from Home Affairs

ASX-listed cybersecurity software developer ArchTIS has secured a 12-month contract extension with the Department of Home Affairs.

The contract covers the provision of “professional consulting services and IT strategic advisory services” for the department’s Technology and Major Capability Group.

The extension is expected to deliver an additional $250,000 in revenue for the Canberra-based company in the next financial year.

“ArchTIS remains firmly committed to exploring all opportunities to further our collaboration with important strategic partners like the Department of Home Affairs in the public sector,” ArchTIS chief executive Daniel Lai said.

The extension comes despite ArchTIS’ ongoing transition away from consulting and services and into commercialising its SaaS security and collaboration platform, Kojensi.

“While our focus on commercialising our SaaS product suite remains our number one priority as we continue to transition towards a product-based business, we welcome the opportunity to further our existing consulting relationship with the Department of Home Affairs through our work with their Technology and Major Capability Group,” Lai said.

ArchTIS listed on the ASX in September last year in a bid to finance the ongoing development and commercialisation of its Kojensi platform. The company met its $8 million funding target, with the backing of small-cap investors SG Hiscock and Merchant Group.
