Saviynt has named Tim Wedande as field CTO for the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region.
Based in Melbourne, he will lead regional technology strategy and support strategic customer engagements, as well as work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams with the aim of accelerating adoption of Saviynt’s Identity Cloud.
In his most recent role as partner at EY in London, Wedande worked with global organisations across regulated industries.
Prior to this, also in the UK, he was a senior manager of cyber security at PwC and a security architect at Accenture.
“APJ is a dynamic and rapidly evolving market where organisations are prioritising identity as their core security control,” said Alex Lei, SVP for APJ at Saviynt.
“Tim’s deep business consulting expertise and customer-first mindset will strengthen our presence in the region and help customers unlock the full value of identity security.”
“Having worked closely with customers and teams across Saviynt, I’ve seen firsthand how central identity has become to business resilience and growth,” said Wedande.
“As organisations across APJ accelerate digital and AI-led transformation, there is a clear opportunity to modernise identity as a strategic control plane, enabling stronger security, faster innovation, and measurable business value. Saviynt is well positioned to help enterprises navigate this complexity with clarity and confidence.”
