Samsung Electronics Australia and Microsoft Australia have announced a new partnership, aimed at improving workstation experiences for local businesses.
The collaboration focuses on increasing compatibility between Samsung's business monitors and Microsoft Surface devices.
Rigorous compatibility testing across a range of Samsung monitors and Microsoft Surface devices has been done by the two technology companies.
This testing program will continue to ensure optimal compatibility between new and existing products from both companies, ensuring Samsung's monitors will operate at peak performance when paired with various Surface laptops, docks, and external cables.
The monitors offer several resolutions including 5K, Dual QHD, UHD, and Ultra WQHD).
They are calibrated with Pantone validated colour accuracy, and come with Flicker Free and Eye Saver mode comfort features, along with camera connectivity
Samsung monitors tested with Microsoft's Surface devices include ViewFinity S9, S8, and S6 models4 spanning 49 inch to 27 inch display sizes.
On the Microsoft side of things, the Surface Dock 2 and Surface Thunderbolt 4 Dock, Surface Pro 9 and 10, Surface Laptop 5 and 6, Surface Laptop GO 3, and Surface Laptop Studio 2 devices have been tested to work with the above Samsung monitors.
Compatibility testing has confirmed reliability spanning functions including out of the box initial connection, power on and off, sleep and wake testing, and more.
Businesses will benefit from an intuitive workstation package offering high-resolution options, colour accuracy, and comfort features.
The partnership also aims to keep Samsung monitors compatible with Microsoft's emerging AI computing technologies.
