Qlik expands with Queensland office
Sharryn Millican

Business intelligence provider Qlik will be opening an office in Queensland.

The company has hired Peter Greenwood as territory sales manager and Kaitlyn Wright as senior solutions architect for Queensland.

Sharryn Millican, Qlik's vice president and regional director ANZ, said the new office opening and hirings underscore Qlik’s commitment to the region. “Australia is an extremely important region for Qlik globally. In addition to our strong customer portfolio, we have also witnessed rapidly growing demand for self-service data discovery solutions in Australia."

Greenwood will be responsible for driving revenue, growing Qlik’s partner networks and overseeing Qlik’s Queensland operation. He brings over a decade of experience in IT to the new role, including three years as senior account manager for Oracle.

Wright will focus on business development and presale activities for Qlik’s Queensland operations. Prior to Qlik, Wright held numerous roles at TechnologyOne, most recently as presales practice lead.

Qlik is a US-based company that has already opened offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Canberra. Its clients include BT Financial Group, Colliers, The Warehouse Group and Melbourne Health.
