Australian IT channel firm PS&C has revealed it is pursuing two more acquisitions as it continues its ambitious channel rollup strategy.
The company has two potential acquisitions that are undergoing due diligence, according to its annual results announcement - one in the security sector and the other an unnamed “people” business.
PS&C today reported $84.5 million in revenue for the 2015 financial year, with $7.1 million of profit after tax.
The result is the first full financial year for PS&C since combining four channel firms in 2013 - Allcom Networks, SAP partner Systems & People (S@P) and security companies HackLabs and Securus.
The decision to also acquire the Pure Hacking business last year has paid off according to today’s earnings announcement, which described the security business as its largest profit centre. Security revenue was $12 million, with profits before tax of $5 million.
Meanwhile, the company’s “people” business pulled in $51.7 million in revenue, with profits of $3.6 million. The communication business saw $21.3 million in revenue and profit of $2.2 million. Allcom Networks was an “excellent performer”, while Allcom Consulting was “disappointing”.
Managing Director Kevin McLaine said: “We have had four businesses growing and performing well and are confident those that have not performed will turn it around in FY2016."
