Netpoleon ANZ has expanded its partnership with Cofense, giving its channel partners across Australia and New Zealand broader access to the vendor's Unified Phishing Defense platform as organisations look to defend against AI-driven phishing attacks.

The expanded arrangement will include increased technical enablement, partner training, joint customer engagement and market development activities across the region, Netpoleon said.

Cofense's platform combines phishing detection, remediation, threat intelligence and awareness training in a single offering.

Recent additions to the platform include AI automation for phishing remediation, which the company said allows security teams to identify and remediate entire phishing campaigns in seconds by clustering related messages by pattern and intent and removing them from every affected inbox in under a minute.

"Cofense is a proven market leader in protecting organisations and industries from advanced phishing threats, and is deployed by some of the biggest companies in ANZ," said Paul Lim, regional director at Netpoleon Australia and New Zealand.

"With its commitment to continuous improvement and the channel model, Cofense and Desmond Lin's leadership will continue to drive growth in the region, working alongside Netpoleon ANZ."

Rachel Roldan, vice president of product at Cofense, said the nature of phishing had shifted materially in recent years.

"Phishing today isn't a series of one-off emails, it's coordinated, adaptive, and increasingly AI-driven. Cofense's AI-powered Phishing Remediation was built for this shift … allowing security teams to operate at the speed of the attack instead of the speed of the queue," she said.
