Powertec Telecommunications becomes distributor for Fuzion Technologies

Powertec Telecommunications, a distributor of wireless connectivity and infrastructure solutions, has been appointed an authorised distributor for Fuzion Technologies across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

Powertec will distribute the Fuzion Technologies FTP-300, a compact solar power system in a box designed to deliver reliable off-grid power for critical communications and networking applications, primarily via the built-in voltage selectable Power-over-Ethernet ports.

The FTP-300 can be used to power Wi-Fi hotspots, surveillance cameras, microwave CPEs, cellular gateways and cellular repeaters, and possesses cloud monitoring and rapid deployment capability.

“Fuzion Technologies’ FTP-300 aligns perfectly with Powertec’s focus on enabling connectivity in regional and remote locations,” said Paul Boyce, product manager for Powertec Telecommunications.

“As demand continues to grow for off-grid communications infrastructure, particularly for wireless broadband, security and mobile coverage applications, the FTP-300 provides a practical, scalable and field-proven solution for our reseller and integrator network.”

“Powertec’s strong presence in the connectivity market and deep understanding of regional deployment challenges make them an ideal distributor for the FTP-300 and future products across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands," said Sean Sealey, founder and CEO for Fuzion Technologies.

In 2023, Wi-Fi and networking equipment vendor Alta Labs appointed Powertec as its new distributor for Australia and New Zealand.
