PICA Australia has signed up to distribute BitDefender’s antivirus software and data security solutions for both corporate and home users, products.
The Melbourne-based company is a wholesale distributor of utilities software, dealing with the major retailers in Australia and having representation in all states and territories.
In March Mihai Rusescu regional operations manager Asia Pacific, Latin America and Africa told CRN the security vendor was eyeing off the local retail market and is eager to have its products displayed on the shelves of major chain stores.
Stephen Williams product manager at PICA Australia said this new relationship showcases BitDefender’s focus on broad distribution of its products in Australia, a goal to be achieved by implementing retail chain distribution.
“We look forward to a successful and long-standing partnership with BitDefender," said Williams.
The vendor also signed on Victorian-based distributor NetFreighters to distribute its products in March.
