Performance Solutions takes VoIP to SMEs

By , on

Australian VoIP platform developer Performance Solutions has signed distributor LAN Systems and 30 VARs across Australia and New Zealand to deliver its IPFX platform to SMEs.

The company appointed the VARs during a roadshow in June and each had put their staff through a four day IPFX accreditation process which provided training on project design, installation and service.

These resellers have the technical expertise to specify, install and service VoIP systems running on the latest Cisco infrastructure, the company said.

The company's IPFX software integrates Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes with IP phones and softphones through SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) for realtime presence management, Harris said.

Global research and development of the IPFX software takes place in Australia and New Zealand and is designed for local markets first, he added.

He claimed that there are 20 world-firsts in IPFX and the application is at least two years ahead of anything else in the market.

"We are now delivering convergence applications to big organisations and small businesses. The IPFX resellers will support the generational leap of small enterprises by integrating computer and telephony systems for contact centres and streamlining electronic communications and messaging," he said.

"Australia has the highest uptake of VoIP in the world and we believe this is largely due to the large number of government departments and corporates deploying our top end Vision Suite software," Harris said.

"We launched [the] IPFX SME suite and it can be easily installed to companies with less than 200 handsets by value added resellers," he said.
