US-based, WAN optimisation vendor, Orbital Data has signed TechPlus Distribution, to sell its products to local resellers.
The deal is part of Orbital’s launch of its international operations in the Asia-Pacific region.
Paul Kern, managing director at TechPlus said the company would distribute Orbital’s AutoOptimizer System product line throughout the country.
“Orbital Data’s APAC partner program includes discounts, technical and sales training, support, qualified leads and a partner web portal, he said.
This partnership is part of the company's global Channel Partner Program, aimed at delivering WAN acceleration products through partnerships with Asian, North American and European resellers.
Spearheading Orbital Data's APAC’s expansion will be Ken Gong, regional manager for the region, an executive with experience in the enterprise networking industry.
Gong said Orbital will assist local channel partners in providing next generation WAN acceleration to the local market.
