Attachmate’s new executive to review Australian partnerships
Wendy Hamson has been appointed channel services director for Australia for the NetIQ, Novell, SUSE and Attachmate business units of the Attachmate Group.
She will review and restructure existing agreements with each business unit’s channel partners as part of her responsibility to drive its Australian channel strategy. Wendy has worked for The Attachmate Group previously, holding senior sales positions before moving to the UK in 2006.
Optus appoints ex-Ericsson VP Vic McClelland as networks boss
Vic McClelland has been appointed as the new managing director of Optus Networks, with responsibility for strategic investments in mobile infrastructure and the day-to-day running of fixed, mobile and satellite networks.
McClelland will report to Kevin Russell, chief executive of Optus Consumer Australia.
Prior to the appointment, McClelland was vice president of technology strategy for internet services with Ericsson in Silicon Valley, in the United States.
Lexmark’s former US sales director to head up Australia
Lexmark International announced the appointment of Arjan Paulussen as its new general manager for Australia and New Zealand.
He was previously a director of sales for Lexmark in the US.
Paulussen will focus on growing managed print, working closely with the company’s partner network to increase revenue opportunities through the development and implementation of consulting and solutions selling services, according to a company statement.
Hayley Dack joins Wavelink
Meru Networks and its Australian distributor Wavelink has announced the appointment of Hayley Dack as Territory sales manager for Meru Education-Grade WiFi in Australia and New Zealand.
Dack has spent eight years in sales-focused roles in the IT industry.
Wavelink managing director Ilan Rubin said: “Hayley’s extensive sales experience will contribute strongly to our communicating Meru’s benefits to the education sector and driving adoption of Meru’s education solutions.”
Pronto promotes Dickinson to cloud manager to meet growth
Australian ERP and business intelligence provider Pronto Software, has appointed Chris Dickinson as cloud services manager.
Dickinson brings 12 years of experience at Pronto.
Pronto managing director David Jackman said the cloud division was rapidly growing. “At Pronto, we are experiencing a year of strong momentum, with our cloud services solidly contributing to this. We continue to invest in development, and as a business, cloud and mobile solutions continue to be our key areas of focus.”
Jason Coleman joins Panasonic
Panasonic Australia has appointed Jason Coleman as director, business systems group.
He brings to the role more than 15 years of industry experience across IT, office solutions, print and document management and information management. Most recently, Jason spent two years at Canon Australia and nine years at HP.
Panasonic Australia managing director Steve Rust said: “His deep commitment to both external and internal relationship management is highly valued.”
Kaseya strengthens leadership team
Kaseya has brought in ex-CA Technologies pair Mark Combs as chief operating officer and Don LeClair as executive VP of product management.
Combs spent 35 years at CA Technologies in which he held a series of senior roles in general management, operations, engineering, support, field technical delivery and IT, while LeClair brings more than 30 years of enterprise software experience.
DocuSign appoints new leaders to Asia Pacific and EMEA regions
DocuSign has hired two new executives to its leadership team, with Eitan Saban as APAC general manager and Jesper Frederiksen as EMEA general manager.
Saban and Frederiksen will manage and support the rapid growth in international companies standardising on DocuSign’s eSignature platform.
“We’re excited to expand our high-performance team with these talented international leaders,” said DocuSign chairman and CEO Keith Krach.
“Eitan and Jesper’s expertise will enhance DocuSign’s industry-leading customer experience and support our hyper growth around the globe.”
