NSW Department of Education seeks server & UPS suppliers
The New South Wales Department of Education (DoE) has issued a Request for Tender (RFT) for a Standing Offer Arrangement with suppliers of servers and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems.

The tender closes on 14 February 2025 and is for an initial perdiod of two years, with the possibility of three 12-month extensions.

The DoE prefers a direct engagement with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

It wants to appoint three suppliers who can deliver the best overall value for money.

The tender also requires statewide coverage for all server and UPS requirements, including servicing regional and remote areas.

The scope includes Rack and tower servers, base UPS systems, networking and device cables, delivery and installation services, asociated software and warranty services.

The DoE also wants to establish a streamlined procurement pathway for its own organisation and its customers to buy end-user servers, UPS systems, and assoociated infrastructure on an ‘as needs’ basis.
