Victorian-based resource recovery company Repurpose It has named Noel Toal as its chief technology and transformation officer.

Toal joins after having served as chief information officer of not-for-profit health organisation DPV Health since August of 2019.

Prior to this, he was the inaugural GM of information systems for fellow not-for-profit community health organisation Access Health and Community, and before this was regional head of IT for ANZ SS&C’s Institutional & Investment Management, which provided software and services to investment management firms.

Toal said on LinkedIn that the new role is "an exciting new challenge".

"Repurpose It is a highly innovative, dynamic and fast growing business that is making a positive sustainability impact," he said.

"They transform (repurpose) Organic and Construction & Demolition waste into valuable materials that can be used across different industries including construction, infrastructure projects and urban development."

Repurpose It partners with local councils and businesses, the Victorian Government and large construction and infrastructure firms for both receiving waste and supplying materials.
