NBN Co has signed a strategic collaboration agreement with Dell EMC as part of an effort to boost its channel and provide support for business customers moving to the NBN.
The partnership will see go-to-market plans developed and executed in conjunction with NBN Co’s participating program distributors, according to NBN Co general manager of business channels Keith Masterton.
“Through these relationships, we will support ICT professionals to help their customers demystify their NBN access network migration and implement IT solutions to enable their business to leverage technology to achieve their business goals,” Masterton said.
“By teaming up with ICT vendors, their distribution channels, and their thousands of partners, we are creating a far-reaching channel to provide the education, advice, services and solutions that businesses need as they migrate to the NBN access network.”
Masterton added that NBN had made “significant headway” since launching the ICT channel program in April, with representation from more than 600 organisations and some 160 are now NBN business accredited advisers.
NBN expects to build out its collaboration with other vendors in the coming months to develop new solutions to support small and medium businesses moving to the network.
Dell EMC acting general manager for channel ANZ Shant Soghomonian said the collaboration was geared to help SMBs improve internal processes and meet business objectives.
“Providing expert advice to help businesses with their technology challenges is a fundamental part of Dell and Dell EMC’s offerings. This collaboration complements many of our other initiatives, such as the Dell Small Business Advisor Program, our focus on medium business enablement and the recently launched Channel Preferred Program, as part of our go-to-market strategy," he said.
“As a one-stop shop – from laptops and devices, through to servers and storage – Dell is on hand to help all Australian businesses transform their IT strategy for future growth.”
