National software and PC reseller MSY Technology has given undertakings to the Federal Court that it will not make false or misleading representations regarding customer warranties.
The undertakings follow legal action initiated against MSY by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
The ACCC sought final orders including declarations that MSY breached the Act, injunctions, civil penalties, corrective advertising, costs, and orders for MSY to implement a trade practices compliance program.
The matter was listed for a scheduling conference on 7 December.
