MSI readies 3D all-in-one PCs for CeBIT

MSI has announced plans to launch a series of all-in-one PCs featuring the latest Intel Core processors and ATI 3D graphics at CeBIT in Hannover next week.

The company will unveil what it claims is the world's first large-size 3D all-in-one PC with high-definition resolution. The device uses a 120Hz LED panel and 3D Shutter Glasses to provide "flawless and highly detailed 3D images".

MSI has integrated 3D display technology, a multi-core CPU and new 3D graphics technology to offer images that provide a higher level of detail, the firm said.

The company will also show off what it believes is the world's first all-in-one PC with a 3D touch-screen at the event in Germany.

MSI will showcase a range of devices designed to offer improved energy conservation and reduced power consumption to help companies meet the European Union's new Energy using Product directive.

These include MSI's Wind Top all-in-one PCs and Wind Box Mini, which the firm claims can reduce average hourly electricity consumption by more than 90 per cent compared with a traditional 300W PC.

Finally, MSI will demonstrate its new Wind Top AE2420 and AE2280 all-in-one 22in and 24in PCs that use Intel's Core i3/i5/i7 processors and Turbo Boost technology.
