Global technology consultancy Neudesic, an IBM company, has expanded into Australia, bringing its Microsoft expertise to support local businesses with cloud and artificial intelligence solutions.
The twenty-five-time Microsoft Partner of the Year winner will focus on delivering services across data and AI, cloud migration, application development, and business strategy to ASX200 companies.
"This launch will significantly expand IBM Consulting's portfolio of targeted businesses across financial services, manufacturing, and energy and utilities in ASX200, providing an opportunity to strengthen an underserviced market," David Ellis, managing partner at IBM Consulting Australia said.
John Hanna, appointed as Neudesic Australia senior partner, said the company would bring deep Azure cloud expertise to local customers seeking digital transformation.
The expansion comes as Microsoft increases its investment in Australian infrastructure.
Microsoft ANZ chief partner officer Vanessa Sorenson said the company was investing more than $5 billion in expanding Australian data centres.
"With the advent of generative AI, cloud computing is booming more than ever," Sorenson said.
:We need skilled partners to be able to help local customers leverage the opportunity hyperscale cloud creates," Sorenson added.
Neudesic specialises in combining technical expertise with industry knowledge, offering clients access to over 2500 Microsoft-certified consultants globally.
The company focuses on building solutions using Microsoft technologies including Azure, Fabric and OpenAI.
"We're excited to help enterprises leverage Microsoft technologies to achieve their business goals better and faster," said Kunaal Kapoor, global executive vice president at Neudesic.
IBM acquired Neudesic in 2022. The California-headquartered company has operated since 2002, working at the intersection of people, technology and business processes.
