Microsoft has brought back its monthly payment plans for Surface devices with a new program called Surface All Access.
The program is the successor to the recently discontinued Surface Plus financing program, and is available for both consumer and business customers.
Consumer payment plans start from US$24.99 for the Surface Go bundle, which comes with an Office 365 subscription and type cover. Microsoft was scant on the details of what else is included other than Microsoft store perks and support. The cost of each plan goes up for each device, going up to US$47.87 for the Surface Pro, US$54.96 per month for the Surface Book 2 and US$150.79 for the Surface Studio.
Business plans are more expensive, starting at US$40.22 per month for 36 months for the Surface Go, with the option to upgrade to a new device.
Surface All Access will be available initially in the US when the new devices launch on 16 October, except for the Surface Studio Bundle, which will be available on 15 November.
Financing is provided by Dell Financial Services and Dell Preferred Account, taking over from previous financing partner banking company Klarna, which partnered with Microsoft on the Surface Plus payment plans.
The announcement came during Microsoft's Surface event in New York, alongside the introduction of three new Surface PCs, the Surface Pro 6, Surface Laptop 2, Surface Studio 2 as well as Surface Headphones.
