Microsoft Australia has named Maria Furnari as its new partner marketing manager for Modern Work in the Australia and New Zealand markets.
Update: the role is a contract one, for 12 months maternity leave cover.
She will be tasked with empowering partners to grow their Modern Work practices by leveraging corporate programs, funding and marketing.
The Copilot artificial intelligence technology will also be a focus for Furnari at Microsoft.
Prior to joining Microsoft this month, Furnari's most recent role was as marketing director at XAM Consulting in Sydney.
She also spent nearly five years at Dicker Data, leading the distributors Microsoft go-to-market partner engagement and growth strategies.
Furnari also worked at United States software developer Cincom Systems, where her most recent role as regional marketing manager for Australia and New Zealand.
