Microsoft has named Danny Mesrop as its senior director of partner development for ANZ.

He joins after a nearly five-year stint at Infoblox, where he served as APJ channel chief for the last three and a half years.

Prior to this, he held such roles as VP of sales at Datto in Sydney and regional VP of channels and alliances APJ for Akamai Technologies in Singapore.

"I've always believed that partners are not middlemen - they are Sales Force Multipliers, specialised extensions of our team, equipped with the local knowledge, industry expertise, and customer relationships that make the difference between strategy on paper and outcomes in the market," Mesrop said in a post on LinkedIn.

"I'm looking forward to working alongside our Distribution partners, Resellers, SSPs, and Telcos across Australia and New Zealand - and to building something meaningful together."
