Infinigate Group owned Wavelink, a distributor of connected health and aged care solutions, has partnered with Acredia to bring the latter company's software to the aged care sector.
The collaboration aims to enhance care quality and operational efficiency in aged care facilities across Australia and New Zealand.
Through the partnership, Wavelink can to distribute Acredia's modular software system through its channel network.
Acredia's cloud-based platform integrates various aspects of aged care management, from compliance to daily operations, into a unified system.
At the heart of Acredia's offering is the Care Direct app, designed to work seamlessly with mobile devices.
The app uses near-field communication (NFC) technology, enabling care workers to access resident profiles and task lists by scanning tags or QR codes placed at room entrances.
Furthermore, the Care Direct app has an intuitive interface with easy-to-understand icons, minimising the need for extensive training which addresses a common challenge in the sector, where high staff turnover often necessitates quick onboarding.
