Melbourne's Kapish inks contract with University of NSW

Information management platform provider Kapish has secured a contract to migrate the University of New South Wales (UNSW) to Kapish Content Manager Cloud.

The contract supports UNSW's Records and Archives Management System (RAMS), which is based on OpenText Content Manager.

RAMS supports over 2,000 users and 5 terabytes of documents across all business units.

The system contains information at PROTECTED level that must be available to users securely 24/7 from any device.

The Kapish Content Manager Cloud contract will provide an IRAP-certified solution at PROTECTED level that is also in line with ISO 27001 (Information Security Management) Certification.

Kapish will provide onboarding, support 24/7 service desk support and Content Manager upgrades every two years.

The firm will also deliver application management and monitoring, as well as patch, server, storage, database and network management.

UNSW joins CSIRO, University of Newcastle, Victoria University, ACT Education Directorate and Bureau of Meteorology on Content Manager Cloud.

Most recently, Kapish inked a six-year contract to migrate the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry to Kapish Content Manager Cloud in April 2024.
