Information management platform provider Kapish has inked a six-year deal with the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF).
The agreement will see Melbourne-headquartered Kapish migrate DAFF's on-premise Opentext content management solution to the Kapish Content Manager Cloud platform.
Kapish said DAFF was seeking a fully managed and supported departmental content manager system to eliminate the risk of failure resulting from the use of unsupported software versions.
The company said DAFF is a long term user of Content Manager (TRIM) and was looking to establish a long term sustainable cloud platform to support records compliance.
DAFF joins other large government agencies using Content Manager, including the CSIRO in April 2022, the ACT Government in July 2022 and Brisbane City Council.
The department acquired Kapish Content Manager Cloud through the Digital Transformation Agency's Cloud Marketplace, joining the likes of the National Anti-Corruption Commission, Australian Sports Commission, Austrade and CSIRO.
