SAP solutions provider Discovery Consulting said it has appointed Mark O'Donnell to lead its expansion into new technologies within the SAP ecosystem, as a senior executive.
O'Donnell joins after 15 years at SAP consultancy Rizing, which was acquired by Wipro in 2023.
At Rizing, O'Donnell was a founding partner and most recently served as head of operations for the company's Business Technology Platform.
"Mark's appointment accelerates our investment in next-generation SAP technologies and strategic third-party solutions," Rod Gallagher, chief executive officer at Discovery Consulting, said.
Gallagher joined Discovery in August last year.
"His unique combination of HR leadership experience and technical expertise will be invaluable as we help organisations leverage new technologies to transform their business capabilities," Gallagher added.
O'Donnell brings more than two decades of human resources leadership and technology implementation experience, having previously served on Qualtrics' partner advisory board and led major HR transformation projects across Asia Pacific and globally.
"The future of HR technology lies in real-time, data-driven decision-making. We've moved well beyond the era of annual engagement surveys to a world where organisations capture and act on employee experience data instantly," O'Donnell said.
The appointment continues Discovery Consulting's investment in next-generation SAP technologies, including artificial intelligence, Business Technology Platform and SAP Analytics Cloud.
