Melbourne SAP partner BNW bought by SoftwareONE

It’s a good week to be an Australian SAP consulting firm: the day after DXC bought Sydney’s Bluleader, Swiss cloud consultancy SoftwareONE has announced the acquisition of Melbourne’s BNW Consulting.

BNW offers consulting, managed services and software solutions for enterprise and SMB customers, and specialises in SAP platform transformation and cloud migration services from on-premises to public cloud hyperscale platforms, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Ali Cloud. The firm also counts Microsoft, Red Hat, IBM, Telstra and Splunk among its partners, and operates in Australia, the UK and the US.

Sometimes known as “Brave New World”, BNW also offers its own proprietary SAP-certified tool, named “PowerConnect”, that provides analytical insights into SAP performance data across on-premises and cloud infrastructures.

SoftwareONE CEO Dieter Schlosser said the acquisition of BNW and its thirty-plus SAP specialists “will significantly enhance SoftwareONE’s global SAP & Technology Services capability”.

“Our new colleagues will service their customers in APAC and the US, and beyond, in close conjunction with the established Manila SAP Center of Excellence,” he added. SoftwareONE will also market PowerConnect.

BNW founder and managing director Warwick Chai, along with co-owner and CFO Stefan Baumann, will take up leadership roles in SoftwareONE’s global SAP team.

Terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
