Global tech services giant DXC has bought Sydney Microsoft and SAP consultancy Bluleader.
Bluleader was named SAP’s 2019 CX Partner of the Year for Australia and New Zealand, and also took out the 2019 CX Partner of the Year for Asia Pacific and Japan. It also works with Microsoft's business applications and analytics portfolio.
The company has over 80 customer experience (CX) specialists on staff and serves over 40 customers including Transport for New South Wales, Metcash, Rheem, Ausgrid, Fisher and Paykel Healthcare and Woolworths.
Terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed, but DXC’s prepared statement on the deal quoted DXC ANZ managing director Seelan Nayagam as saying “The acquisition of Bluleader is an integral part of DXC’s commitment to continue to grow and invest in SAP-based customer experience solutions and more broadly our SAP Practice, with the joint strategic goal of achieving our position as the number one SAP partner in Australia and New Zealand.”
Nayagam added that Bluleader will slot into DXC’s SAP-focused Oxygen practice and that the Sydney company’s customer experience innovations “will be scaled globally to address the CRM, eCommerce and eMarketing needs of our clients to help them improve their customers’ experience.”
Bluleader managing director Robin Apfel’s quote in the statement said “We are excited about expanding the reach of Bluleader into DXC’s diversified client base, so that our employees are engaged in interesting, challenging and career-enhancing projects.”
“This combination will enable us to leverage DXC’s market presence, intellectual property and expertise to expand the size and scale of Bluleader as part of DXC Oxygen’s Integrated Practice.”
