The chief executive of Logicalis Australia is leaving the local arm of the managed service provider, with company veteran and national sales director Lisa Fortey stepping in as acting country manager.

A Logicalis Australia spokesperson told CRN Australia that Fortey will be part of its Asia Pacific leadership team.

Fortey will report directly to the chief executive of Logicalis Asia Pacific, Chong Win Lee.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson said Anthony Woodward will conclude his tenure at the end of January.

The British-based MSP said the leadership change is part of its ongoing transformation.

"Logicalis Asia Pacific continues to strengthen its position as a regional IT solutions leader," the spokesperson said.

"These changes optimise regional efficiency and align resources with the company’s growth objectives," the spokesperson added.

"For Australian customers and partners, this means access to an expanded pool of expertise and solutions that combine local knowledge with regional experience," the spokesperson said.

On LinkedIn, Woodward posted a farewell, calling out his friends and colleagues and congratulated Fortey on her new role.

"How do you sum up a 3.5 year journey as amazing as my role at Logicalis Australia in just a few words? It's certainly a challenge, but here goes," Woodward said.

"As part of the ongoing consolidation of the Australia business into Logicalis Asia Pacific, I finish up my role as chief executive this month," he added.

"I'm excited by the possibilities that the more integrated business presents to this market, bringing a powerhouse of 1600+ engineers and an exhaustive portfolio of innovative product and service offerings to this market to truly compete," Woodward said.

He joined Logicalis from Accelera Group, which Woodward founded, in July 2021.

Woodward remains a non-executive diretor of in1bank, a digital bank based in Sydney that targets small-to-medium enterprises, and Australia's Chinese population.
