Lenovo recognises ANZ partners at Sydney gala

Lenovo hosted its annual Lenovo Business Partner Gala Awards on Tuesday, 17 September, at the Hyatt Regency in Sydney, honouring the achievements of its top partners across Australia and New Zealand.

Over 180 guests gathered for the evening, which celebrated the contributions of partners to Lenovo’s success across 13 award categories.

The event also highlighted local winners of the Lenovo AP Channel Awards, to showcase the impact of partners in driving innovation and business excellence.

The gala followed a full day at the Lenovo 360 Accelerate event, where attendees heard from Lenovo’s leadership team and key vendors such as Microsoft and Intel.

Speakers included Victor Dominello, chair of the federal ministerial digital ID expert panel, who addressed the growing role of digital identity and technology in modern business.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the outstanding efforts and achievements of our partners,” Kirat Khara, commercial director of channel and distribution for Lenovo Australia and New Zealand said.

“The level of innovation we’ve seen, particularly in the realm of AI, has been remarkable, and I couldn’t be more excited about the possibilities that lie ahead," Khara added.

The awards night recognised winners across Lenovo’s main groups: the Infrastructure Development Group (IDG), Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG), and the Solution and Services Group (SSG).

Ingram Micro Australia took home the title of One Channel ANZ Distributor of the Year 2024, while Spark New Zealand was named IDG ANZ Reseller of the Year 2024.

Other winners included Datacom Australia, which secured IDG ANZ Commercial Services Reseller of the Year, and Data#3 Limited, named ISG ANZ Reseller of the Year.

The gala also paid tribute to individual achievements, with Greg Furlong from Datacom Australia and Francis File from Spark New Zealand who were both honoured as Lenovo Legends for their contributions in Australia and New Zealand, respectively.

In the Lenovo's AP Channel Awards Spark New Zealand earned the prestigious Top Growth Premier Support Partner of the Year 2024 title, for the company’s impact on the channel’s success.
