Lenovo is merging its enterprise business group into its PC group channel reseller program, the Lenovo Partner Advantage Program.

The PC group consists of the Lenovo and Think PC brands, while the enterprise business group consists of IBM’s x86 server business, which Lenovo acquired in 2014.

Lenovo says it will also introduce higher rebates to partners who beat their quarterly targets.

Enterprise business partners will also have access to rebates from $1, meaning partners who don’t reach their targets are still eligible for a rebate

The new Lenovo Partner Advantage Program will also introduce the Funded Head program, providing resellers with a dedicated Lenovo staff member within their business. Lenovo will pay for training and certification, as well as an agreed upon contribution to expenses.

Lenovo channel lead Fred Viet said the vendor was making a number of other commitments to its channel presence in Australia and New Zealand. This includes increasing its channel head count to 45 and introducing a new partner portal.

Lenovo also launched its managed service providers program, Lenovo Service Provider, on 1 April.
