New Zealand-headquartered managed services provider Lancom Technology has appointed Bernard Moran as Australia country executive, effective immediately, as the company steps up its focus on the Australian market.
Melbourne-based Moran brings experience from leadership and CEO roles at Powernet IT Solutions and Virtual IT Group, as well as organisations involved in acquisitions and large-scale customer environments.
He will lead Lancom's Australian operations with three stated priorities: deepening relationships with existing customers, growing the local team, and expanding into new markets and industry sectors.
"Our first priority is our existing customers," Moran said.
"My focus is on strengthening those relationships, ensuring we're continuing to deliver exceptional outcomes, and helping customers access more of what Lancom has to offer, in support of their growth."
Lancom's Australian customer base already includes Downer, Linfox Armaguard, Mondiale VGL and Barwon Health, according to the company.
Growth plans include adding customer-facing technical expertise, strengthening business development resources and building a larger local presence alongside the company's trans-Tasman delivery capability.
Priscila Bernardes, current chief executive at Lancom Technology, said the appointment reflects a long-term commitment to Australia.
"Bernard brings a strong commercial mindset alongside a genuine focus on customers, partnerships and people," she said.
"His appointment reflects our commitment to investing in Australia for the long term."
The company was acquired by US holding company Evergreen Services Group in 2024.
